Most "Swine Flu" is NOT... According to CDC, They just don't want you to know that.

You should really listen to this woman's interview.

"Sharyl Attkisson is a CBS News correspondent and investigative reporter. She’s covered Capitol Hill since February 2006 and has been a Washington-based correspondent there since January 1995. She was also part of the CBS news team that received the Edward Murrow Award in 2005 for overall excellence. Additionally, she received an Outstanding Investigative Journalism Emmy in 2002 for a series on the Red Cross."

"In case you didn't realize it, Sharyl Attkisson is the investigative reporter behind the groundbreaking CBS News study that found H1N1 flu cases are NOT as prevalent as feared."

"In fact, they’re barely on the radar screen."

"How did this startling information come about, and why is the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) painting a different picture entirely? I spoke directly with Sharyl Attkisson to find out."

Listen people... it's not SCHWAG... its SWAG...

I don't know who started this but it is really annoying me.  In recent years, and by recent I mean, in the past 15 years or so, the term "swag" has become a pop meme that even soccer moms have embraced, understood and to a certain extent 'sought after'. After all SWAG, or as many say schwag, means... 'free stuff you get as a perk or a give-away, usually at a conference or event. A free t-shirt, a tote bag, a stupid pen with a company logo on it, that kind of stuff.

Well, there is NO "CH" in SWAG... its S - W - A - G. You know why i know this... because SWAG means "Sh*t We All Got". Some will tell you it has roots in pirates booty and I don't know if that is true but it is NOT spelled SCHWAG... and not pronounced with the "CH" sound...

It's SWAG... S - W - A - G...

Got it?  Good, we can put that to rest now.

Schmatta: Rags to Riches to Rags on HBO...

Interesting doco about the American Garment Industry and American Unions. Interesting stats on the Percentage of clothing that has been manufactured in the United States.

1965 - 95% Clothing Manufactured in the United States

1975 - 80% Clothing Manufactured in the United States

1985 - 70% Clothing Manufactured in the United States

1995 - 50% Clothing Manufactured in the United States

2009 - 5% Clothing Manufactured in the United States

The core of the problem is that corporate law requires that a company GROW to be successful. It is not acceptable in corporate America to just "be"... and sustain, which, by the way would provide jobs for people. Instead, companies are required to GROW. There is only so much potential to grow.

We need to allow companies to sustain and not require them to grow quarter after quarter.
