So my buddy Dan Handa, true storm trooper costume owning Star Wars fan tells me the At At video is sort of old news, not surprising because we were away for a month. But the behind the scenes video reveals just how ingenious some of the execution was… here is the original piece.

Tutorial - Timecode Logging with TextExpander

This is a technique I used when I’m directing so I can log shots while we’re rolling. By working with time of day timecode I can quickly and accurately paste the timecode with a simple keystroke.

Top Secret... sorry.

So this is exciting... I'm going on a top secret gig, for a top secret company, at a top secret location (I don't even know yet) talking about top secret information. Not much of a blog post is it?  Well... I'll write what I can when I can. But let me just say this, I'm very excited about this gig. I'm leaving in a few hours and will be driving home Tuesday Night back in an edit Wednesday.

Maybe I'll post some 'top secret" fuzzed out and redacted photos a little later.
