Editors need to hang out.

OK… I don’t know what I’m gonna call this or how to pull this off but, I want to get together with some local editors, compositors, colorists, and just have a ‘share/show-off/train/inspire’ session. Maybe this is what user groups used to be but I just think this would be a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.  Maybe we’ll screen grab it? Maybe we’ll web cast it? Maybe we’ll just hang out and tell stories over food and drink? I don’t know. but I’m looking for local San Francisco/Oakland talent that would want to come and have a low key “hang”. Maybe it’ll end up being the editors version of a “Photo Walk”… who knows.

So… anyone interested? Let me know.

I'm game. I think that's a cool idea! I listen to the podcast, so, it would be nice to meet you in person. And, I'm as opinionated as you are, so we'd have all kinds of fun!

That sounds like a great idea. Not as fancy or as structured as a user group, but more like the after hours hang-outs at various conferences. :) I'm in.

Hey Chris!
You could do MeetUp, post it locally, blog and tweet it.
Meetup.com is a good way to get the word out!
Best,
